Successful businessman Anthony Papamarkos, the owner of The Graycliff, has been selected to receive the annual prestigious “Hermes Award” on October 20, 2021, at the 30th Hermes Expo Awards Dinner.
The Awards Dinner will take place at the Grand Marquis in Old Bridge, NJ at 5 p.m. Additional honorees include, Paul Kalamaras, SEVP Investors Bank, Philip Christopher, president and CEO of American Network Solutions & president of PSEK, Dr. Zisis Chroneos, AHEPA Cooley’s Anemia researcher, Vasilios Kolovos, Kolovos Enterprises, Eleftheria Oikouta, and Meropi Kyriakou, Greek Language Educators, #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos (2021 “Journalist of the Year”), and John Kallas, co-founder of Pan Gregorian.
Papamarkos came to the United States in 1969 in hopes of a better life. He worked his way up the restaurant world and in 1975 he purchased his very own restaurant. After purchasing several businesses, in 2002 Papamarkos bought The Graycliff in Moonachie, NJ. He renovated the place into the spectacular banquet hall it is today.
Papamarkos is also known for his generous donations towards the homeless and military veteran associations.
