I applaud Hermes Expo International‘s ability to promote international business and cultural exchange through professional trade shows, conferences, and networking events that result in solid business relationships. As Co–Chair of the bipartisan Congressiona Caucus on Hellenic Issues, I commend Hermes Expo International for playing a pivotal role in connecting governments and markets pertaining to Greece and America.
It is with regret that I am unable to join you to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of this year‘s recipient of the prestigious Hermes Award, prominent businessman and community leader, Philip Christopher. I am delighted to know that my good friend is being recognized for his passionate advocacy regarding the illegal occupation of Turkish troops in Cyprus.
