I am pleased to extend my sincerest congratulations as you gather for the 30th Expo Awards Dinner. I would also like to congratulate Philip Christopher and other dignitaries on their outstanding work as they have excelled in their communities. This dinner is guaranteed to be an unforgettable event as you honor esteemed dignitaries, in specific, the hospitality industry. As you all know, the hospitality industry has been greatly impacted by the pandemic; however, they continued to push through during these trying times.
The Hermes Expo is an endowed networking program that combines businesses, various professionals, and industries whom all have the same goal: the expansion of their network among the American market place. The community is fortunate to have a program like this, one that so passionately helps its members succeed.
As your United States Senator, I commend the effort put forward to make this celebration possible. Again, congratulations to Philip Christopher for receiving the Hermes Award this evening. I will continue to be inspired by your tenacity every day.
