As the largest forum for the Greek American marketplace, Hermes Expo will organize its annual trade show and exhibition and present in parallel a practical seminar on the "GLOBALIZATION OF MARKETS - INTERNATIONALIZATION OF EDUCATION & MEDITERRANEAN NUTRITION

This year's Hermes Expo Symposium will focus on the following issues: The consequences of globalization of the economic markets, REAL ESTATE IN GREECE AND IN THE USA, the internationalization of education, and the Mediterranean nutrition, and it will take place at the professional and exhibit hall Biscayne of the Trump Marina complex during the Hermes Expo on Saturday morning April 4, 2009 10:30 - 12:00 Noon. . Among many distinguished speakers, the Symposium will include:

▪ Chris Spirou, President of the American Hellenic University. Educating the workforce for Globalization
▪Ted G. Spyropoulos, President of the TGS Petroleum and SAE of America Coordinator.

The panel moderator of the Symposium will be the reputable Greek-American attorney Mr. Aris Christakis, Esq."

Hermes Expo International tries consistently to respond to the fast developing needs of the global economy by focusing on ways to tighter integrate trade and investment between the United States, Greece, and Southeastern Europe.


In summary, our goals are to
(1) Provide networking opportunities and promote trade relations between Greece, Southeastern Europe and the Americas;
(2) explore investment opportunities in Greece and the Southeastern European region; and
(3) develop business and government networking between Greece and the rest of Europe with the United States of America.


Active pursuance of these goals have succeeded in making Hermes Expo the moving force and catalyst behind the unity of the Greek American business community;
a critical means of strengthening the U.S.-Greek trade relations; and a
contributing factor in the creation of a climate of closer communication and understanding between Greece and the Greeks living abroad.
