 The 11th Hermes Expo International, the largest trade event within the $10 billion Greek American marketplace, will officially open on Saturday, April 6, 2002, at the Trump Taj Mahal Grand Ballroom, in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Hermes Expo International is a unique trade and business networking event available for access to this vibrant and growing Greek American ethnic marketplace. During the past ten years, more than 25,000 participants have taken advantage of this unique trade and cultural exposition. Hermes Expo has been singularly successful at bringing businesses from Greece, the Balkans, Southern Europe, Eastern Mediterranean and North America to focus on this highly lucrative target market. A Unique Cultural Opportunity - Philadelphia Celebrates Thessaloniki This year, the municipality of the city of Thessaloniki (Greece's largest and wealthiest city after Athens) will be the focus of a variety of business and cultural activities. Visitors will have the opportunity to combine business networking and entertainment in the nation's Eastern gaming capital. Seminars Featuring United States and Business Leaders During the two- day period, the Hermes Expo will feature a wide variety of business seminars, including, well-know speakers from Greece, Europe and North America. The keynote seminar, " USA - Greece - Balkans: Challenges and Prospects of a Business and Cultural Cooperation in view of the 2004 Olympic Games," will include Congressman Frank LoBiondo and Congressman Robert Sndres, along with a panel of leading economists, business leaders, and othe rdignitaries.
